Description

  • Understand customer business drivers and decision-making processes.
  • Connect Everpure and ecosystem technology solutions to measurable customer outcomes.
  • Partner with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to develop customer strategies and drive revenue.
  • Lead technical sales strategy, evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations.
  • Create and deliver technical product and architecture presentations.
  • Capture business requirements and translate them into innovative technical solutions.
  • Author and lead responses to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
  • Support interoperability, functional, and performance testing and validation.
  • Collaborate with product and technical marketing on whitepapers and presentation materials.
  • Monitor competitors and market trends to maintain differentiated solution positioning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or another technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Required pre-sales experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience across technology, design, and communications.
  • Experience selling enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts preferred.
  • Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
  • Experience with cloud-native transformation, on-premises and public cloud environments, provisioning automation, and containers.
  • Experience with Linux, NFS, distributed network environments, VMware, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and networking.
  • Understanding of distributed computing, storage subsystems, multiprocessing, virtual memory, shared memory, and cache architectures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, microservices, SQL, or Oracle preferred.
  • Must reside in Minnesota, Wisconsin, or Chicagoland; the posting also lists Albany, NY as a location requirement.
