Description

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer business drivers and decision-making processes.
  • Translate Everpure and ecosystem technologies into measurable customer outcomes.
  • Partner with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to shape customer strategy and drive revenue growth.
  • Lead technical discussions, product presentations, and architecture presentations for customers and prospects.
  • Capture customer requirements and turn business needs into innovative solutions.
  • Own evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations during the sales cycle.
  • Write responses to RFIs, RFPs, and related proposal materials.
  • Support interoperability, functional, and performance testing and validation efforts.
  • Work with product and technical marketing to create supporting materials such as whitepapers and web presentations.
  • Stay current on competition, market trends, and solution positioning.

Requirements

  • BS in CS, EE, or another technical degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Pre-sales experience is required.
  • Must reside in the Albany, NY area.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience across technology, design, and communications.
  • Experience supporting the sale of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions.
  • Familiarity with modern web architecture, including LAMP stack, scale-out vs. scale-up architectures, AWS Well-Architected Framework, and microservices architecture, is a plus.
  • Prior experience targeting new prospects and converting them into clients.
  • Experience contributing to or নেতৃত্বing responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
  • Strong knowledge of storage architectures such as FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native architecture, on-prem, public cloud, provisioning automation, and containers.
  • Experience with Linux, NFS file systems, Linux distributed network environments, VMware, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP is a plus.
  • Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures is a plus.
  • Experience with storage-intensive applications such as SQL or Oracle databases is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.

  • Annual base salary range of $171,500 to $257,600 USD.
