Description

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer business drivers and decision-making processes.
  • Translate Everpure and ecosystem technologies into measurable customer business outcomes.
  • Partner with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to build customer strategies that drive revenue growth and new business.
  • Provide technical leadership on storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and competitive offerings across DAS, NAS, and SAN.
  • Lead evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations.
  • Deliver technical product and architecture presentations to customers and prospects.
  • Capture customer requirements and convert business needs into tailored solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for interoperability, functional testing, and performance validation.
  • Work with product and technical marketing to create supporting materials such as whitepapers and web presentations.
  • Stay current on competition and market trends to maintain accurate solution positioning.

Requirements

  • Pre-sales experience is required.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience across technology, design, and communications.
  • Experience supporting the sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of multi-tier client/server and web-based computing solution architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Familiarity with modern web architecture, including LAMP stack, scale-out vs. scale-up architectures, AWS Well-Architected Framework, and microservices architecture.
  • Prior experience targeting new prospects and converting them into clients.
  • Experience contributing to or leading responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
  • Strong knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures, including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
  • Experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments.
  • Knowledge of VMware, local area networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, containers, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures is a plus.
  • Understanding of digital transformation to cloud-native architectures, on-prem, public cloud, provisioning automation, and containers.
  • Experience with storage-intensive applications such as SQL and Oracle databases is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
