Description

  • Understand customers’ business priorities and decision-making processes.
  • Map Everpure and ecosystem technologies to measurable customer outcomes.
  • Partner with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to develop customer strategies and drive new business.
  • Provide technical leadership on storage products, distributed architectures, file systems, and competing DAS, NAS, and SAN solutions.
  • Manage customer evaluations, benchmarks, testing, and system configurations.
  • Create and deliver technical product and architecture presentations to secure technical wins.
  • Capture customer requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
  • Lead interoperability, functional, and performance testing and validation opportunities.
  • Contribute to roadmap exchanges, alliance planning, RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, whitepapers, and technical marketing materials.
  • Monitor competitors and market trends to maintain differentiated solution positioning and promote technical thought leadership.

Requirements

  • Required pre-sales experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience across technology, design, and communications; enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software sales experience preferred.
  • Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing architectures.
  • Knowledge of modern web architectures, including LAMP, scale-out and scale-up systems, AWS Well-Architected Framework, and microservices.
  • Experience targeting new prospects and converting them into customers.
  • Advanced knowledge of storage architectures, including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
  • Experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and distributed Linux networking environments.
  • Experience installing or configuring distributed computing, multiprocessing, virtual memory, storage, shared memory, cache, and windowing systems.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native transformation, on-premises and public cloud environments, provisioning automation, and containers.
  • Knowledge of VMware, Ethernet, TCP/IP, local area networking, AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, microservices, and storage-intensive SQL or Oracle applications preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills and a passion for explaining emerging technologies to customers.
