Description

  • Provide technology and product consulting and technical sales support for account opportunities.
  • Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to customers, prospects, and channel partners.
  • Support RFI and RFP responses.
  • Organize and lead proof-of-concept activities, including success criteria and lab evaluations.
  • Design solutions that meet customer requirements and detailed technical specifications.
  • Participate as a networking specialist on virtual teams and contribute to broader team activities.
  • Build trusted relationships with customer and partner stakeholders.
  • Provide technical product training to partners.
  • Support major account opportunities and contribute to closing deals.
  • Assume account team leadership responsibilities when additional resources are required.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the Netherlands market.
  • Fluent English and excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong track record in pre-sales engineering within the relevant industry and territory.
  • Sound knowledge of Layer 2/3 switching, IPv4/IPv6 routing, overlay networking, VPNs, Wi-Fi design, and network security principles.
  • Ability to work with customer project teams on solution design, proof-of-concept labs, and evaluation criteria.
  • Experience with major accounts, deal closure, customer evaluations, demonstrations, and detailed design requirements.
  • Experience working with partners, including technical product training.
  • Ability to build customer and partner relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Ability to understand future technology trends and market direction.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, network management platforms, virtualization, orchestration, SD-WAN, automation scripting, and APIs is preferred.
  • Extreme Networks or recognized industry certifications and hands-on lab experience are preferred.
