Description

  • Join customer and prospect calls to address complex security, architecture, infrastructure, and integration questions.
  • Lead or co-lead technical evaluations covering cloud architecture, security posture, data architecture, and system integration.
  • Prepare technical responses for RFPs and RFIs, including security questionnaires, architecture diagrams, compliance documentation, and integration specifications.
  • Address prospect and client questions regarding ISO 27001, SOC 2, data residency, encryption, and identity and access management.
  • Serve as the primary technical resource for the Sales Engineering team across product areas.
  • Build and maintain architecture diagrams, security FAQs, integration playbooks, and other technical reference materials.
  • Coach Sales Engineers on handling technical questions and determining when specialist escalation is needed.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Elite’s Azure environment, platform architecture, data fabric, APIs, and integration layer.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Security, Compliance, and IT teams to communicate platform changes and maintain accurate technical answers.
  • Represent Elite’s technical function with client IT, security, and infrastructure stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical presales, solutions architecture, or systems architecture, ideally supporting enterprise SaaS sales.
  • Experience answering advanced technical questions from IT, security, and infrastructure stakeholders.
  • Experience across a broad technical platform stack rather than a single specialty.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure architecture, security, identity, and networking; Azure certification preferred.
  • Working knowledge of data fabric and data architecture concepts for enterprise SaaS platforms.
  • Knowledge of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards, including ISO 27001, SOC 2, and data residency/privacy requirements.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, integration patterns, and enterprise-to-SaaS connectivity.
  • Ability to explain architecture diagrams and translate technical concepts for technical and business audiences.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills; ability to travel up to 25–50% and authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
