Description

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of pre-sales Systems Engineers in the Commercial organization.
  • Coach technical talent and serve as an employee advocate focused on team growth and development.
  • Drive operational excellence and support the creation and validation of technical demand.
  • Refine sales strategy and tactics while owning technical responsibilities.
  • Build deep understanding of customer business drivers and decision-making processes.
  • Represent and explain the value of Everpure solutions to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide technical leadership and domain expertise across storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and competitive offerings in DAS, NAS, and SAN.
  • Enable the team to capture customer requirements and translate business needs into innovative solutions.
  • Support team responses to RFIs and RFPs as needed.
  • Promote interoperability, functional, and performance testing and validation, and share market and competitive insights to support thought leadership.

Requirements

  • Candidates must reside within the NYC Metro area.
  • 5+ years of management experience leading high-performing Sales Engineers in Commercial or Enterprise accounts.
  • 10+ years of experience supporting sales of storage, networking, or systems solutions to large accounts and data centers.
  • Deep understanding of the architecture, design, and implementation of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions.
  • Prior experience setting team strategy to acquire new prospects and convert them into clients.
  • Knowledge of business impact of current and emerging storage architectures, including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
  • Strong knowledge of digital transformation to cloud-native architecture, on-prem, public cloud, provisioning automation, and containers.
  • Knowledge of VMware, local area networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
