Description

  • Lead proposal workstreams and improve the quality, consistency, and competitiveness of customer submissions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional contributors across account, customer experience, value management, engineering, finance, and sales engineering teams.
  • Own customer engagement planning, scheduling, roles, timelines, dependencies, and progress tracking.
  • Manage RFx and unsolicited proposal processes from development through submission and customer sign-off.
  • Conduct tailored discovery with customer stakeholders and translate findings into proposal and engagement direction.
  • Write and refine executive summaries, value proposition content, and other customer-facing deliverables.
  • Ensure deliverables are accurate, cohesive, documented, and aligned with customer expectations and evaluation criteria.
  • Provide strategic framing on customer priorities, competitive dynamics, risks, and business drivers.
  • Guide teams through ambiguity, remove execution barriers, and maintain accountability across workstreams.
  • Present concise, audience-aware narratives and align executives and stakeholders around decisions and next steps.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in large deal engagement management, including managing cross-functional teams and closing customer proposals.
  • Experience in a pre-sales engagement management role at a major consulting firm, preferably with a technology vendor.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage senior client interactions, meeting agendas, deliverables, and approvals.
  • Proven ability to write detailed content and summarize customer content, value, and solutions in executive-level language.
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and stakeholder-influence skills.
  • Proven ability to create actionable plans through complex planning, preparation, analysis, and development.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as sales engineering and account teams.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for value delivery and long-term relationship building.
  • Familiarity with tools that enhance, automate, or simplify differentiated proposal delivery processes is preferred.
