Description

  • Lead a high-performing team of Account Executives across the SLED Southeast district.
  • Drive district performance by maintaining a 4X pipeline and hitting booking and new logo targets.
  • Own recruiting, coaching, and development of Account Executives across the full talent lifecycle.
  • Manage team KPIs, forecast accuracy, point-of-contact management, and territory planning.
  • Lead engagement with channel partner principals and leadership to align partner efforts with go-to-market goals.
  • Act as a strategic advisor in complex sales cycles and deliver executive-level presentations to public sector leaders.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Channels to support district execution and customer wins.
  • Build executive relationships with public sector stakeholders to secure long-term partnerships.

Requirements

  • Experience building, leading, and developing high-performing field sales teams in the IT infrastructure or storage industry.
  • Background focused on the SLED market, including State, Local, and Education customers.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional resources such as SEs, Inside Sales, and Channels to win large public sector contracts.
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement, funding, and technical requirements.
  • Analytical skills and experience using CRM tools for territory planning and revenue forecasting.
  • Track record of building trust and long-term relationships with CIO and Director-level stakeholders.
  • Strong persuasive communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work from Raleigh, North Carolina or Florida.
  • Experience with incentive compensation and/or equity-eligible roles is applicable to this position.
