Description

  • Partner with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to drive revenue growth and new business opportunities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer business drivers and decision-making processes.
  • Create customer-facing technical content such as walkthroughs, deep dives, and qualification guides for AI and HPC opportunities.
  • Advise leadership on methods and strategies to improve AI and HPC knowledge and market positioning.
  • Lead or participate in customer calls, demos, POCs, EBCs, internal strategy sessions, and other solution-focused activities.
  • Translate customer business needs into technical solutions using the storage portfolio and broader ecosystem.
  • Contribute to or lead responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
  • Identify and promote opportunities for interoperability, functional testing, and performance validation.
  • Work with product and technical marketing to produce materials that support alliance plans and objectives.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the competitive landscape and support technical enablement across internal teams and sales resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in the data center field.
  • Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining storage, networking, cloud, HPC, and AI architectures and standards.
  • Technical pre-sales experience is required.
  • Experience targeting new prospects and converting them into clients.
  • Deep understanding of AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and JAX.
  • Knowledge of high-performance, low-latency, highly parallelized compute solutions at scale across compute, network, and storage.
  • Understanding of accelerated compute environments such as GPU, ASIC, and FPGA.
  • Knowledge of AI and HPC orchestration and management tools such as Kubernetes, Slurm, Vertex, and SageMaker.
  • Experience with cloud-native architecture, on-prem and public cloud environments, provisioning automation, and containers.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP is a plus.
  • Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
  • Strong technical and tactical problem-solving skills with experience in complex engineering designs.
  • Proficiency with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned territories as required.
  • Self-motivated with an ownership mindset and a drive to overachieve expectations.

  • Annual base salary range of $152,000 to $243,600.
