Description

  • Engage closely with customers to understand their workflows, constraints, and technical challenges before proposing solutions.
  • Design and run hands-on proof-of-concept projects tailored to customer environments and life sciences use cases.
  • Work with account executives to design architectures for data governance, reproducibility, and validation requirements in regulated environments.
  • Identify new life sciences use cases where Domino can create additional customer value beyond the initial engagement scope.
  • Build and maintain reusable technical environments and assets to accelerate future customer engagements.
  • Partner with Customer Success and Solutions Architects to ensure customers are positioned for production success after a POC.
  • Build custom prototypes and applications on Domino to demonstrate value beyond standard demos.
  • Contribute to technical evaluations and customer engagements that drive adoption and production deployments.
  • Support the company’s shift toward Forward Deploy Engineering within field work.

Requirements

  • Technical background in life sciences, with experience in a pharma, biotech, CRO, genomics, or medical device organization.
  • Working knowledge of at least one life sciences domain such as drug discovery, clinical development, computational biology, manufacturing/QC, or regulatory data management.
  • Experience building, operating, or contributing to an internal platform or shared scientific computing environment.
  • Experience in a solutions engineering, pre-sales, customer-facing technical, consulting, or equivalent internal role.
  • Experience leading or contributing to technical evaluations, pilots, or proof-of-concepts that influenced adoption or investment decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to write production or near-production code to solve scientific or operational problems.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or R.
  • Hands-on experience with data science and machine learning tools used in life sciences technical work.
  • Familiarity with how models are built, validated, and moved toward production in regulated contexts is a plus.

Benefits

  • Annual US base salary range of $200,000 to $250,000 USD.
