Description

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for AWS and Amazon Connect-based solutions in customer conversations.
  • Design innovative technical solutions based on customer needs, requirements, and input.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions with customers during the sales cycle.
  • Deliver immersive demonstrations showcasing cloud, AI, and customer experience capabilities.
  • Partner with Business Development on technical strategy for opportunity pursuits and territory planning.
  • Develop presentations, proposals, workshops, and Statements of Work aligned to customer needs.
  • Educate customers, partners, and peers on the value and benefits of AWS.
  • Lead workshops with customers and prospects on AWS solutions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with AWS and other vendor solution architects and technical leaders.
  • Support RFP responses and collaborate with Product and Services leadership to identify customer needs and portfolio trends.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of customer-facing experience designing complex solutions in a technical pre-sales role such as Sales Engineer or Solution Architect.
  • 3+ years of expertise in Amazon Connect and AWS.
  • 7+ years of experience in information technology or application development.
  • Relevant AWS certifications or accreditations.
  • Ability to think critically and communicate technical recommendations as business value in verbal presentations and proposals.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for a variety of audiences.
  • Experience working with customers and partners.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% for customer and partner meetings.
  • Experience helping customers expand beyond Amazon Connect to AWS services such as EKS, SageMaker, Bedrock, S3, and EC2 is preferred.
  • Experience with intelligent automation, voice applications, digital channels, generative AI, journey orchestration, voice self-service, or conversational bot solutions is preferred.
