Description

  • Lead consultative discovery to uncover customer challenges, modernization priorities, and cloud transformation initiatives.
  • Align BlueCat’s capabilities to measurable operational and business outcomes through executive workshops and technical deep dives.
  • Drive proof-of-value engagements that demonstrate troubleshooting, downtime reduction, and automation improvements.
  • Architect and position solutions spanning network observability, telemetry analytics, infrastructure automation, and API-driven workflows.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with technical teams, operations leaders, architects, and executive stakeholders.
  • Support customers throughout the lifecycle from evaluation and onboarding through adoption, expansion, and ongoing success.
  • Enable channel and strategic partners by strengthening their technical positioning and customer engagement capabilities.
  • Support go-to-market initiatives such as events, webinars, and industry conferences.
  • Influence product direction by sharing customer insights, competitive intelligence, and feature feedback with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams.
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce updates and collaborate effectively across globally distributed remote teams.

Requirements

  • Deep network engineering expertise with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value for enterprise customers.
  • Experience across routing and switching, network security, wireless, QoS, and infrastructure modernization in on-premises, cloud, SaaS, and hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience with observability and telemetry tools and methods including NetFlow, Flexible NetFlow (FNF), IPFIX, streaming telemetry, PCAP, and network performance monitoring/analytics platforms.
  • Experience with API-driven infrastructure, Infrastructure-as-Code tools, orchestration platforms, and cloud networking operational visibility strategies.
  • Familiarity with DHCP/DNS enterprise architectures is a plus.
  • Knowledge of AI-assisted operations, infrastructure intelligence, and automation-driven workflows is highly valued.
  • CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent certification is a strong differentiator.
  • Strong consultative selling and advisory skills, including discovery, outcome mapping, and influencing both technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Track record of cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Services.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience, with background in sales engineering, solutions engineering, network engineering, technical consulting, or customer success engineering.
