Description

  • Embed with client teams for the duration of each engagement and work inside the client environment.
  • Spend time with end users before designing solutions so system architecture reflects real workflows.
  • Write production-grade Python for AI integrations, backend services, and RESTful APIs.
  • Design, build, and optimize RAG systems and agentic AI solutions running in production.
  • Own system design decisions across engagements, including architecture trade-offs and technology choices.
  • Lead the technical direction from discovery through delivery.
  • Serve as the client’s direct technical point of contact and present or defend architecture decisions.
  • Support presales work such as discovery calls, technical proposals, scoping, and client demos.
  • Lead architecture reviews, produce technical design documents, and contribute to internal Python standards.
  • Mentor engineers, lead code reviews, and share knowledge across the team.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience building and running production systems.
  • Hands-on production experience with RAG systems and LLM-based agentic workflows.
  • Backend development experience with Flask, Django REST, or FastAPI.
  • Recent hands-on AWS experience with services such as SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, ECS, S3, SQS, and ECR; GCP is also considered.
  • Experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or AWS Bedrock.
  • Strong Python proficiency, including OOP, design patterns, clean architecture, and performance optimization.
  • Experience making and defending system design and architectural trade-off decisions.
  • Comfort owning direct communication with client stakeholders.
  • Willingness to work closely with end users before designing solutions and comfort with underspecified engagements.
  • Strong testing practices, including pytest, mocking, and integration tests for AI systems.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of LLM evaluation techniques and quality assurance approaches.
  • Experience deploying and maintaining AI/ML models in production environments.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Copilot in daily work.
  • Proactive, self-directed ownership of outcomes end to end.
  • B2+ English and comfort collaborating across distributed, multicultural teams.
  • Exposure to Financial Services or Healthcare and Life Sciences.
  • Presales experience, including cost estimation, cloud cost optimization, and scoped delivery plans.
  • Prior consulting, professional services, or embedded client-facing delivery experience.
  • Experience with React or Vue.
  • AWS or Claude Code certifications.
  • Experience with Streamlit or Gradio for AI prototyping.
  • Modern Python tooling such as ruff, uv, pyproject.toml, and pyright.
  • CI/CD pipeline experience with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
  • Experience in an additional language such as Go, Node.js, or Rust.
