Description

  • Design, plan, and implement scalable cloud-based and on‑prem data and ML architectures and backend services.
  • Lead complex customer engagements, providing strategic technical vision and aligning technical solutions with customer business goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and act as a trusted technical advisor.
  • Lead and run technical workshops, training sessions, and presentations for clients and internal teams.
  • Define and execute data lifecycle processes including ingestion, storage, processing, and visualization.
  • Ensure solutions adhere to security, compliance, and architecture frameworks (e.g., AWS Well-Architected, GCP Architecture Framework).
  • Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to cross-functional teams and other architects to drive technical excellence.
  • Design and execute proofs of concept for emerging technologies, including Generative AI and machine learning.
  • Oversee data governance and data quality processes and drive backend/ML services best practices for scalable, maintainable solutions.
  • Stay updated with technology trends and continuously improve architecture strategy and implementation approaches.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in solutions architecture with a strong focus on Big Data and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Experience designing data pipelines and architectures and proficiency with cloud data stacks, including data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time analytics.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and experience integrating AI/ML components into production solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with microservice architectures and containerized deployments using Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Proficiency in backend languages such as TypeScript, Java, or Python.
  • Experience with MLOps and machine learning tools (e.g., PyTorch, SageMaker, MLflow).
  • Technical sales or pre-sales experience with cloud, big data, and ML solutions and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership, team collaboration, mentoring experience, and familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Strategic thinking with a focus on delivering measurable business value and managing technical risks.
  • Nice to have: experience with Generative AI implementations, graph databases (Neo4j, AWS Neptune), data mesh principles/data contracts, and infrastructure-as-code tools (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform).
