Description

  • Own agent outcomes from customer need through production delivery and iteration.
  • Build production AI agents, retrieval tools, multi-step workflows, and action-taking capabilities using Amazon Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, and MCP.
  • Turn semantic-layer and service API capabilities into effective agent endpoints and tools.
  • Design the end-user agent experience, including response speed, confidence, explanations, and next steps.
  • Build evaluation harnesses with labeled test sets, groundedness and hallucination metrics, and CI regression gates.
  • Measure adoption, feedback, intent, task success, and customer impact; communicate results to Product and the business.
  • Instrument tracing to diagnose agent failures, implement fixes, and continuously improve quality and coverage.
  • Own MCP serving endpoints, latency, response cost, caching, runtime guardrails, deployment, and testing.
  • Partner with Product Managers and platform engineers to define supported decisions and drive needed data or infrastructure changes.
  • Create tests, typed interfaces, review loops, and other safeguards for code produced with coding agents.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building production software or data-intensive systems used by customers.
  • Strong Python skills and experience shipping at least one LLM or agent feature to production users.
  • Hands-on AWS experience; experience with Amazon Bedrock and Bedrock AgentCore is preferred.
  • Experience designing agent orchestration, tools and functions, context assembly, and multi-step workflows.
  • Experience building retrieval systems over business data and using SQL and metrics to validate answers.
  • Experience owning generative-AI evaluation loops, including labeled datasets, regression gates, and measurable quality metrics.
  • Demonstrated product judgment for agent behavior, including when to answer, ask follow-up questions, refuse, and explain results.
  • Experience measuring and presenting agent outcomes such as adoption, task success, and decision quality.
  • Experience using coding agents in production workflows and building verification harnesses for their output.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Legal right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Experience with Langfuse, LangSmith, or Arize; semantic or metrics layers such as Ossie or dbt; operational SaaS domains; or senior/lead technical direction is preferred.
