Description

  • Design, configure, operate, and optimize SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) environments for enterprise SAP landscapes.
  • Ensure seamless integration between BTP and core SAP systems such as S/4HANA and ECC.
  • Design and maintain platform trust configurations, certificate-based trust setups, and secure token flows.
  • Configure and operate SAP Cloud Identity Services (IAS/IPS) for authentication, provisioning, federation, and lifecycle management.
  • Implement principal propagation and support Single Sign-On architectures across hybrid identity landscapes.
  • Govern platform-wide roles, role collections, authorizations, entitlements, subaccounts, and environment segmentation.
  • Provision and maintain service instances, service keys, and key platform services such as Job Scheduler, SAP HANA Cloud, CTMS, and Cloud Logging.
  • Configure Destinations and Cloud Connector instances to support secure connectivity between BTP, cloud services, and on-prem SAP systems.
  • Operate Cloud Management Service and use BTP CLI and CF CLI for platform operations, automation, and troubleshooting.
  • Automate platform provisioning, service configuration, and delivery workflows using Terraform and GitHub Actions, including CTMS-based pipelines.

Requirements

  • Proven experience configuring and maintaining SAP BTP environments integrated with external systems and SAP products such as S/4HANA and ECC.
  • Hands-on experience with platform trust configuration, SAP Cloud Identity Services (IAS/IPS), principal propagation, and SSO integrations.
  • Experience with corporate Identity Provider integrations, proxies, user provisioning, lifecycle management, and XSUAA.
  • Experience managing entitlements, quota planning, service instance provisioning, service key lifecycle, and role/role collection configuration.
  • Experience with SAP BTP services including Job Scheduler, SAP HANA Cloud, Cloud Transport Management Service, Cloud Logging Service, SAP DMS, Redis Store, and Object Store.
  • Experience configuring Destinations using OAuth2, Basic Auth, Principal Propagation, and related authentication methods.
  • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Cloud Connector for hybrid connectivity.
  • Experience with Cloud Management Service, BTP CLI, and CF CLI for platform operations.
  • Experience with Terraform for BTP and GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
  • Experience integrating Cloud Transport Management Service with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Preferred: experience supporting secure, scalable, and governed enterprise platform operations across multiple environments.
