Description

  • Lead and coach a team of 2-3 platform engineers.
  • Drive agile delivery and manage OKRs for the team.
  • Design reliable Terraform and Terragrunt modules on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Contribute hands-on technical work alongside people leadership.
  • Champion data security controls such as Dataplex and DLP.
  • Build standard self-service developer tools for downstream data teams.
  • Support platform reliability, governance, and customer enablement.
  • Collaborate within the Data & Analytics Data Platform Engineering team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data platform, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering.
  • Initial experience leading, mentoring, or managing technical teams.
  • Deep practical experience with Terraform and Terragrunt.
  • Experience architecting and managing infrastructure, preferably on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong familiarity with GCP data services including BigQuery, Cloud Composer, GKE, and IAM.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab CI, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong focus on platform reliability, system governance, security, and customer enablement.
  • Professional English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
  • Open-source-first mindset when evaluating or building internal platform tools (preferred).
  • Exposure to PySpark and open table formats such as Apache Iceberg or Delta Lake (preferred).
  • Experience or strong interest in AI-assisted development tools like Cursor and Claude, and monitoring LLM-driven pipelines (preferred).
