Description

  • Lead the technical strategy, architecture, and long-term evolution of the portfolio.
  • Guide the design and modernization of enterprise cloud, DevSecOps, platform, AI/ML, and Zero Trust capabilities.
  • Partner with Product Management, technical leads, and government stakeholders to shape roadmaps and architectural decisions.
  • Mentor engineering leaders and technical leads while ensuring delivery of scalable, resilient solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customer leadership and identify innovation opportunities.
  • Improve platform health, reliability, and operational effectiveness across the portfolio.
  • Drive engineering excellence by optimizing delivery workflows and technical performance.
  • Identify technical bottlenecks and architect scalable solutions that improve mission efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead translation of complex requirements into phased architectural milestones across the program’s areas of responsibility.
  • Support business development, technical solutioning, capture activities, proposals, and strategic growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Technical Solution Architect or similar role.
  • Experience leading enterprise-scale architecture, platform engineering, or modernization initiatives.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, DevSecOps, platform services, AI/ML, or Zero Trust solutions at scale.
  • Experience operating across multiple classification domains (IL5 to IL6+) simultaneously.
  • Ability to produce architecture artifacts such as integration diagrams, operational views, and DoDAF-aligned documentation.
  • Strong leadership experience mentoring senior engineers, technical leads, and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience partnering with Product Management and executive stakeholders on strategy and roadmap priorities.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with government or enterprise stakeholders and senior technical counterparts.
  • Experience with Agile and SAFe delivery environments, including PI Planning, backlog refinement, dependency management, and cross-team coordination.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience supporting business development, technical solutioning, capture activities, proposals, or strategic growth initiatives.
  • Experience with geographically dispersed teams across multiple locations and mission environments.

  • Salary range of $250,000 to $375,000.
