Description

  • Build and deploy AI-powered application features and services integrating LLMs and ML models.
  • Develop GenAI capabilities including RAG, embeddings, vector search, prompt design, tool calling, and agentic workflows.
  • Develop APIs and services that expose model capabilities while managing latency, reliability, and cost.
  • Implement evaluations, guardrails, human review, monitoring, and responsible-AI governance practices.
  • Prepare grounding data and features using dlt, dbt, Dagster, Databricks, and Delta Lake.
  • Version and deploy models and prompts with MLflow and Databricks Model Serving.
  • Write tested, version-controlled code and deliver it through Azure DevOps CI/CD.
  • Apply privacy and security practices for sensitive customer data, including PII handling and data minimization.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, data engineers, and other developers to refine features.
  • Mentor engineers and share reusable AI patterns, particularly at the senior level.

Requirements

  • Junior: 3–5 years of software development experience, including hands-on AI or GenAI application development.
  • Senior: 5–8 years of software development experience, including recent hands-on AI or GenAI application development.
  • Python proficiency and strong software-engineering fundamentals in APIs, services, testing, and version control.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM applications, including RAG, embeddings, vector search, prompt design, and evaluation; senior roles also require tool calling and structured evaluation.
  • Experience with model APIs and serving platforms; Azure OpenAI, Databricks Model Serving, and MLflow preferred.
  • Experience or familiarity with dlt, dbt, Dagster, Databricks Lakehouse, Delta Lake, SQL, and cloud data workflows.
  • Experience with Azure and CI/CD; Azure DevOps and Git-based development preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to document, evaluate, and securely handle sensitive data in regulated environments.
  • Preferred: insurance or financial-services experience, orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex, vector stores, front-end/full-stack development, responsible-AI practices, or relevant Azure/Databricks certifications.
