Description

  • Make proactive daily sales calls to new and existing representatives to build relationships and uncover selling opportunities.
  • Maintain existing representative relationships to encourage repeat business and sustained production.
  • Prospect for new opportunities and pass qualified leads to external wholesalers.
  • Provide product education by answering questions and comparing product features and benefits against competitors.
  • Create sales opportunities and follow up thoughtfully to move opportunities through the sales pipeline.
  • Partner with external wholesalers to develop and execute a strategic business plan for territory growth.
  • Maintain representative profile information and sales activity in Protective databases.
  • Execute campaigns using Protective systems to generate leads and follow-up activity.

Requirements

  • Prior insurance or investment sales experience is recommended.
  • Ability to be adaptable and highly flexible in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong competitive drive and personal motivation to succeed.
  • Professional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proven attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Well-organized self-starter with high energy and creativity.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Series 6, Series 63, and Life & Health licenses required.
