Description

  • Sell CPM software applications and related services within a defined territory.
  • Cross-sell multiple products to the existing customer base.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead identification through closure.
  • Work with pre-sales and services teams during sales cycles.
  • Partner with a dedicated inside sales resource to improve market penetration and lead flow.
  • Generate and qualify sales opportunities through inside sales, cold calling, business contacts, and vendor selection competitions.
  • Understand product functions and features and communicate key differentiators against competitors.
  • Stay current on competitive products and technology.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of field sales experience, including software sales in Business Intelligence, Corporate Performance Management (CPM), and/or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), or strong CPM industry knowledge with a desire to move into sales.
  • Experience with qualification frameworks such as MEDDICC or MEDDPICC.
  • Ability to make persuasive presentations and listen actively and effectively.
  • Outstanding communication, executive presence, and consultative selling skills.
  • Ability to sell at multiple levels of an organization, including technical and operational stakeholders.
  • Skill in overcoming objections and identifying decision makers.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and driven.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to do what is necessary to succeed.
  • Ability to interface professionally with senior leaders and a wide range of customers.
  • Creative thinking and comfort thinking outside the box.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in the country where the role is located.
  • Must be able to travel to the United States, Canada, and/or internationally, and hold a valid passport.
  • Comfort using AI tools responsibly for research, drafting, or data review.
  • Salesforce experience is considered an asset.
  • Experience with activity-based, conceptual telephone selling and territory/account development is considered an asset.
  • Ability to learn new tools and adapt as technology evolves.
  • Curiosity, openness to new approaches, and a collaborative mindset.
