Description

  • Install, configure, and manage Epic Hyperspace, Epic-specific print services, Interconnect, and related client system components.
  • Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and security of Epic applications and client environments.
  • Support virtual delivery platforms such as Citrix, VMware, and similar technologies used to deliver Epic access.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting Epic client applications, end-user access, printing, and environment stability.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, application analysts, and vendors on upgrades, patches, and new releases.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures, and configuration records.
  • Manage Epic print services, including printer deployment and troubleshooting within Epic.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
  • Provide on-call support for production issues as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and security requirements.

Requirements

  • Epic Client Systems Administrator certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience supporting Epic client applications and infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Experience with Citrix, VMware, or similar virtualization technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for application and system performance issues.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, and load balancing.
  • Experience with healthcare IT systems and workflows preferred.
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell and VBScript preferred.
  • Experience in large enterprise environments with 24/7 clinical operations preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and clinical teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
