Description

  • Work as a member of a cross-functional, stream-aligned engineering team alongside engineering, product, design, and tech leadership.
  • Plan, build, and support software using agile development practices and a product mindset.
  • Collaborate with teams outside product engineering, including direct work with customers to understand their needs.
  • Own software from code commit through production operation under a You Build It, You Run It approach.
  • Support production systems with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog.
  • Champion engineering principles and help improve the engineering culture.
  • Push for high-value, high-impact product decisions by questioning the status quo.
  • Contribute to stable, observable systems and continuous improvement through data and feedback.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of modern web applications.
  • Experience building TypeScript and JavaScript applications.
  • Experience using NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.
  • Experience using Python.
  • Knowledge of event-driven architecture.
  • Experience with AWS serverless and/or GCP.
  • Experience supporting applications in production with strong observability practices, including RUM and tracing.
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment with strong engineering practices.
  • Customer-value-focused mindset with interest in the full product lifecycle.
  • Passion for software development and continuous learning.
  • Comfort working across major cloud providers, including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
