Description

  • Define and prioritize the product backlog for data-driven initiatives based on measurable business outcomes.
  • Act as the main liaison between business stakeholders, data engineers, data scientists, and analytics teams.
  • Lead data product development using Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stakeholder reviews.
  • Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable data models and solutions.
  • Drive the design and validation of robust data models to ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with Azure data platform teams to deliver secure, efficient, and scalable cloud-based data solutions.
  • Monitor data product performance and measure alignment with KPIs and business goals.
  • Champion data governance, quality, and compliance practices throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in Data, Analytics, or BI roles.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Product Owner or Business Analyst capacity.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, including relational, dimensional, and modern NoSQL/data lake concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, and Data Lake.
  • Proven experience gathering, documenting, and prioritizing business and technical requirements.
  • Proficiency with Power BI, SQL, and Azure DevOps or JIRA.
  • Strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Agile/Scrum certification is a plus, such as CSPO or SAFe PO/PM.
