Description

  • Translate platform strategy into a prioritized backlog of problems, user stories, acceptance criteria, and thin-sliced deliverables.
  • Lead backlog refinement, sprint readiness, and scope negotiation to keep delivery predictable and frequent.
  • Work closely with engineers, architects, security, product teams, and internal platform consumers to determine what to build next and why.
  • Review technical designs, assess tradeoffs and constraints, and understand their impact on delivery timelines and system behavior.
  • Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to validate assumptions, pressure-test tradeoffs, and refine product direction.
  • Use DevOps and cloud domain knowledge to identify friction, gaps, and opportunities for differentiation.
  • Define success metrics for Core Services and ensure releases are measurable and fed back into prioritization.
  • Own release readiness, including documentation, enablement inputs, and communication of what is new and why it matters.
  • Ensure Core Services account for IAM boundaries, auditability, guardrails, safe defaults, and other trust and governance needs.
  • Measure outcomes such as adoption, workflow completion, reliability, and customer impact, and iterate based on feedback.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of hands-on experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, SRE, Cloud Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar role.
  • Experience building products for public cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Google Cloud, and/or Azure.
  • Strong product sense for turning messy problems into clear scope and shipped value.
  • Systems thinking and the ability to reason about complex distributed systems and architectural tradeoffs.
  • Deep technical fluency in cloud fundamentals, including cost/billing concepts, identity/IAM, networking, compute, Kubernetes, observability, and automation.
  • Prior experience working with or building solutions around public cloud infrastructure.
  • Coding experience is a plus for collaborating with engineers and reasoning about feasibility.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex ideas simply and align stakeholders.
  • A bias for action and continuous improvement, with a willingness to ship, measure, learn, and iterate.
  • Remote work eligibility for the East Coast US, EMEA, or Israel.
