Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365/Azure environments.
  • Architect and support enterprise networking across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, routing, switching, wireless, and firewall platforms.
  • Administer VMware, Hyper-V, and Azure infrastructure, including virtualization, storage, replication, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Lead advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, major incident response, and permanent remediation of complex infrastructure issues.
  • Implement security controls, vulnerability remediation, patching, hardening, and incident response activities.
  • Design and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions, including testing, validation, and recovery planning.
  • Develop PowerShell and other automation scripts to improve operational efficiency and standardize processes.
  • Create and maintain documentation, knowledge base articles, SOPs, and infrastructure standards.
  • Mentor L1 and L2 engineers and collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients on projects and escalations.
  • Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, modernization projects, change management, and technical reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5–8+ years of experience in systems administration, network engineering, infrastructure engineering, or a senior MSP environment.
  • Strong experience supporting enterprise Microsoft, networking, virtualization, cloud, backup, and security technologies.
  • Experience working in Managed Service Provider environments supporting multiple clients.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2012–2025, Active Directory, Azure AD (Entra ID), Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, DFS, PKI, Certificate Services, and PowerShell.
  • Experience with networking platforms and technologies such as Cisco, Meraki, SonicWall, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Ubiquiti, VLANs, routing and switching, site-to-site VPN, SSL VPN, SD-WAN, TCP/IP, NAT, ACLs, QoS, and wireless networking.
  • Experience with VMware ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, vMotion, Hyper-V, and storage management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure services including virtual machines, networking, storage, backup, monitoring, security, and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with Veeam, Datto, Barracuda, Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, EDR, vulnerability management, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  • Preferred certifications include Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Enterprise Administrator Expert, VMware VCP, Cisco CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE, ITIL Foundation, and CompTIA Security+.
