Description

  • Support client leads in developing and executing investor relations strategies aligned to clients’ corporate goals, including fundraising and investor marketing efforts.
  • Provide daily logistical and strategic investor relations support to assigned client accounts.
  • Prepare client deliverables such as backgrounder documents, shareholder reports, analyst models, short interest reports, benchmarking reports, and competitive intelligence research.
  • Conduct quantitative data analyses on peer ownership from SEC filings and other research projects.
  • Develop corporate communications and presentation materials, including press releases, conference call scripts, corporate overview decks, board presentations, Q&A documents, and messaging materials.
  • Support the planning and execution of earnings calls, roadshows, industry conferences, medical meetings, and other investor events.
  • Assist with day-to-day communications with contacts in the life sciences investment community.
  • Maintain databases and enter data.
  • Track sector trends and gather and analyze data to inform client work and planning.
  • Support broader business marketing initiatives directed toward clients and industry leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a service industry requiring direct customer contact.
  • Demonstrated interest in healthcare and/or equity markets.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills, including the ability to work with highly nuanced and technical language.
  • Excellent communication skills, including confident and professional phone and email communication.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to multitask efficiently in a dynamic team environment.
  • Dedication to accuracy, deadlines, and high-quality work, with high ethical and professional standards.
  • Comfort with learning new software technology and platforms.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude and excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proactive self-starter who can take initiative, work with little supervision, and make judgment calls under pressure.
  • Problem-solving mindset with resourceful and creative thinking.
  • Preferred: prior experience in investor relations, life sciences, consulting, banking, or financial services.
  • Preferred: leadership experience, including network and relationship building.
  • Preferred: intermediate Excel skills, including formulas and graphs for reporting.

  • Compensation range of $77,000 to $107,000 USD.
