Description

  • Review, update, and establish regional site contract management processes and procedures.
  • Lead and manage a team of contract and budget associates.
  • Allocate resources for new business and forecast current and expected workload.
  • Participate in planning future site contract structure and resource needs.
  • Track, report, and manage site contract metrics and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and contracting standards.
  • Escalate and resolve complex issues with legal, finance, and leadership stakeholders.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate agreements including confidentiality agreements, clinical study agreements, ancillary agreements, and amendments.
  • Oversee agreement execution, contract file maintenance, database updates, and archiving.
  • Identify process improvements and implement corrective actions.
  • Support policy and procedure design to ensure timely contract execution.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in internal and external meetings, including client meetings.

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience, ideally in a scientific or healthcare discipline.
  • Experience in Site Contracts departments within Clinical Research Organizations (CROs).
  • Experience working with large healthcare institutions in North America on clinical trial agreement performance and negotiations.
  • Experience managing people remotely.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating Clinical Trial Agreements and site budgets, with project and portfolio-level contract management.
  • Experience setting up Site Contracting Plans and working with Sponsors.
  • Experience with different site contracting structure models.
  • Strong organizational and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software and site budget planning tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual environment.
  • Availability and ability to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays.
