Description

  • Support monthly project accounting, including documenting status meetings and updating financial trackers.
  • Set up new projects in time-and-expense systems and reconcile project information with Salesforce.
  • Update project files and trackers for change orders, budget adjustments, carve-outs, milestones, and tasks.
  • Record intercompany revenue and cost transactions.
  • Review project hours, expenses, billing roles, and rates.
  • Prepare client invoices, maintain contract-based invoicing waterfalls, and follow up on overdue balances.
  • Assist with monthly client accruals and track project costs against contracted amounts, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Track employee and subcontractor hours, bill rates, and expenses.
  • Update routine monthly general ledger reconciliations and collaborate with the SG&A team.
  • Support annual budgeting, ad hoc finance projects, and annual audit documentation requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in accounting, finance, or business.
  • 0–2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Agency or professional services experience preferred.
  • Month-end close, revenue recognition, project accounting, or client-facing experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, interpretive, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organization, time management, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze large volumes of qualitative and quantitative information and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • High integrity when handling confidential information, with a self-starting attitude and willingness to learn.
