Description

  • Review, draft, negotiate, and track site contracts, clinical study agreements, amendments, vendor agreements, consulting agreements, master services agreements, and confidentiality agreements.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Operations, study teams, sponsors, supervisors, and external stakeholders to resolve or escalate contractual issues.
  • Ensure contracting activities comply with company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Provide study teams with updates on contract negotiation and execution status.
  • Establish, track, report, and manage site contract metrics.
  • Maintain contract files, databases, and archives.
  • Support the design and implementation of procedures that improve timely contract execution.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage sensitive contractual matters with discretion.

Requirements

  • Graduate, postgraduate, or four-year college degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating site Clinical Trial Agreements, vendor contracts, and site budgets.
  • Experience in a CRO or healthcare environment.
  • Experience leading interactions with study teams and sponsors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in law, a scientific field, business administration, or an equivalent discipline preferred.
  • Knowledge of contracting plans and negotiation guides for CTAs and budgets preferred.
  • Experience coordinating with study teams, CRAs, Start-Up Associates, or (S)BSCAs to meet study timelines preferred.
  • Strong organizational, written communication, interpersonal, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a virtual environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer applications.
