Description

  • Provide healthcare expertise to guide strategy and execution of client projects.
  • Represent the Access Experience Team to clients and lead payer strategy work to address business needs.
  • Support cross-functional matrix teams on internal and external client deliverables.
  • Develop segment strategy input for pre-launch and existing brand, biosimilar, and loss-of-exclusivity planning.
  • Support new business development through research, proposal development, and presentations.
  • Conduct advisor interviews and summarize market dynamics for client projects.
  • Assist with client workshops, competitive simulations, and stakeholder role-play exercises.
  • Review drug coverage and market trends and translate them into actionable insights for account teams.
  • Prioritize deliverables across multiple clients and help manage tight deadlines.
  • Assist with client budget planning and recommend services or projects to meet client needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, nursing, medicine, or life sciences; doctorate degree highly preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a medical or pharmacy management role at a payer organization, health system, integrated delivery system, or comparable environment.
  • Advanced degree preferred, such as MBA, MS, PharmD, or MD.
  • Prior experience with Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committees or formulary management at a health plan, integrated delivery network, health system, or other organized provider organization preferred.
  • Payer experience working with pharmaceutical manufacturers is desired.
  • Recent experience at a pharmacy benefit management organization preferred.
  • Experience managing specialty pharmaceuticals across pharmacy and medical benefits, including oncolytics, rare disease drugs, and other specialty products.
  • Ability to develop client-facing materials using PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to present information live or via teleconference and work with web conferencing systems and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Ability to interpret analytic and economic model outputs, work independently or in teams, and manage multiple projects with competing timelines.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
