Description

  • Own the full P&L for assigned portfolio brands and act as the primary finance contact for portfolio leadership.
  • Lead the monthly controlling cycle to ensure accurate, timely, and clear financial outputs.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly internal reporting, including budget-to-actual variance analysis and management commentary.
  • Contribute to annual budget planning, rolling forecasts, and reforecasts in collaboration with cost and profit center managers.
  • Support the month-end close process in coordination with the accounting team to ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Leverage AI tools and automation (e.g., Claude, Abacum, automation platforms) to streamline closing comments, data validation, variance analysis, and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Support development and maintenance of FP&A and reporting tools (Abacum, NetSuite) and related forecasting processes.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses, build financial models, and provide financial support and recommendations to management and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics or equivalent.
  • 2–3 years of experience in finance, controlling, or FP&A.
  • Solid understanding of P&L structures and month-end closing processes.
  • Proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets for financial modelling and analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail with an independent, structured, and analytical way of working.
  • Excellent time management and ability to meet financial deadlines.
  • Confident communicator able to explain financial topics to non-finance stakeholders and work with senior leadership.
  • Comfortable using AI tools and automation to accelerate workflow.
  • Strong English communication skills and ability to work within or overlap European business hours.
  • Nice to have: SaaS industry experience; multi-entity/multi-currency experience; experience with Abacum, NetSuite or similar FP&A tools; exposure to automation or scripting; progress toward ACCA/ACA/CIMA.
