Description

  • Provide deep domain expertise in DoD financial management systems, audit requirements, and compliance frameworks.
  • Translate financial policy, SFIS requirements, and statutory mandates into actionable system and product requirements.
  • Validate AI-generated compliance mappings and anomaly findings for financial accuracy and audit defensibility.
  • Partner with AI/ML engineers to refine rule sets and model outputs based on financial logic and compliance criteria.
  • Support executive briefings and stakeholder engagements related to compliance posture and audit readiness.
  • Guide cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between technology solutions and financial governance mandates.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in DoD financial management.
  • Deep understanding of DoD financial management systems, SFIS, audit compliance requirements, and federal financial regulations.
  • Experience supporting audit readiness initiatives, compliance validation, or financial data standardization efforts.
  • Familiarity with enterprise financial systems, reporting environments, and internal controls frameworks.
  • Ability to interpret financial policy and translate complex requirements into technical guidance.
  • Remote role with preference for candidates local to the DMV area who can attend in-person meetings as required.
