Description

  • Work closely with attorneys to support clients and provide case advocacy.
  • Help clients develop case statements for use in their asylum cases.
  • Advise on evidence gathering and case preparation.
  • Write portions of legal briefs.
  • Conduct country conditions research.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients via phone and email in English and Spanish.
  • Proactively manage case tasks and deadlines.
  • Compile and submit filings to immigration agencies.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to case handling.
  • Support attorneys in framing and preparing each case.

Requirements

  • Commitment to the firm’s mission of helping immigrants secure their future in the United States through asylum.
  • Fluent in Spanish.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to perform at a high level with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work well under pressure.
  • Able to track tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Paralegal experience in an immigration law firm is preferred but not required.
  • Located in Argentina.
  • Resume and cover letter must be submitted in English, and the cover letter is required.

  • Monthly gross salary of USD 2,100, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
