Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients in English and Spanish.
  • Send daily emails and make phone calls to respond to client inquiries and request documents or information.
  • Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and other staff to support client representation.
  • Help clients complete tasks needed to develop their cases.
  • Proactively manage case progress and flag delays or issues that could affect deadlines.
  • Compile and submit filings to immigration agencies.
  • Perform administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of company protocols and processes.
  • Communicate proactively with teammates about case issues and obstacles.

Requirements

  • Fluent in both Spanish and English and able to use both languages professionally every day.
  • Experience preparing immigration applications is preferred but not required.
  • Strong commitment to the firm’s mission of helping immigrants secure their future in the United States through asylum.
  • Tech-focused and eager to learn new online systems and procedures.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathetic and able to communicate with clients under significant stress.
  • Works well under pressure and can produce high-quality work on compressed timelines.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Able to stay focused and on task without close supervision in a quiet work environment with fast internet.
  • Open to frequent changes in tasks, policies, and procedures in a fast-growing environment.
