Description

  • Design user-centered product content that simplifies complex language and processes for customers.
  • Develop content architecture that supports reuse and publishing across multiple platforms, personas, and markets.
  • Research user needs and translate user stories into effective content design approaches.
  • Collaborate closely with UX Designers, Engineers, Product Leaders, and other stakeholders throughout the design process.
  • Draft, refine, and write content for mock-ups, prototypes, and live product experiences.
  • Apply writing style guides and content standards consistently across deliverables.
  • Use basic data analysis, research, and interpretation to inform content and content design decisions.
  • Explore and apply AI-assisted content design methods for ideation, prototyping, and content exploration.
  • Design simple, accessible conversational flows that improve task success and reduce friction.
  • Work in agile environments and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on user needs.

Requirements

  • 6-month contract based remotely in Canada, with occasional travel to the Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City office for onboarding and team events.
  • Background in content design within a product-focused environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in English, UX writing, technical communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience writing and structuring content for audience needs, including technical communications, instructional writing, and UX writing.
  • Foundational understanding of user-centered design techniques and how to apply them.
  • Experience with AI-assisted tools and workflows for ideation, prototyping, or content exploration.
  • Exposure to conversational design and ability to create simple, accessible conversational flows.
  • Experience working with authoring and publishing content management systems (CCMS).
  • Experience working in agile development with cross-functional teams such as UX Designers, Product Management, and Engineers.
  • Self-directed with strong communication and presentation skills; experience with PointClickCare or EHR-equivalent software is an asset.
  • Knowledge of tools such as Paligo, Pendo, Jira, Figma, Power BI, and Smartsheet is a plus.
