Description

  • Write and/or review multiple lesson scripts for the NZ Years 7-10 Mathematics curriculum.
  • Develop content that addresses specific parts of the NZ Mathematics curriculum with appropriate depth of knowledge.
  • Ensure lessons align with the set curriculum standards.
  • Create teaching resources for online Mathematics learning.
  • Peer-check educational content and provide feedback to others.
  • Work independently to deliver contract items on schedule.
  • Use online tools to visualise Mathematics content effectively.

Requirements

  • At least 2-5 years of experience teaching NZ Mathematics.
  • Experience making teaching resources.
  • Experience peer-checking educational content and providing feedback.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working with technology.
  • Excellent time-management skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency with online tools for visualising Mathematics.
  • Availability to commit approximately 15 hours per week from mid-June to early October.
  • Contract-based engagement with payment based on deliverable items.
  • Resume and brief cover letter required for application.
