Description

  • Prospect, expand, and manage broker relationships focused on HEI originations on the Point platform.
  • Lead outreach, qualification, and onboarding for new wholesale origination partnerships.
  • Grow origination volume with existing brokers through education, marketing support, and feedback loops.
  • Serve as the liaison between brokers and Point operations staff to coordinate updates and support contract closing.
  • Share customer feedback and market insights with business and product leaders to inform product and policy roadmaps.
  • Help build the wholesale origination channel and team from the ground up.
  • Drive channel volume and support the company’s next growth milestones.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in the mortgage industry, preferably in wholesale or correspondent account growth.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage underwriting, processing, closing, and sales procedures.
  • Exceptional account management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong business acumen and unimpeachable integrity.
  • Ability to operate with professionalism, grace, and curiosity in a fast-growing startup environment.
  • Genuine entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to build a new origination channel from scratch.
  • Proven hunter mentality with a track record of initiating and closing new business relationships (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience growing a de novo wholesale or correspondent origination channel (preferred).
  • Expert-level understanding of home equity and cash-out mortgage products (preferred).
  • Comfort working through ambiguity and competing priorities (preferred).
  • Superb relationship management skills, intellectual curiosity, and strong accountability (preferred).
  • Passion for innovating within the U.S. housing market (preferred).
  • Must reside in one of Point’s states of operation: AL, AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, KS, KY, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NH, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, or WI.
