Description

  • Evolve and maintain the design system with clear naming conventions, token architecture, and documentation that supports AI tooling.
  • Advance the product’s visual language across typography, color, spacing, and component design.
  • Design high-fidelity, customer-facing experiences that help homeowners understand the product and move forward with confidence.
  • Create and refine reusable components and design patterns that improve consistency and efficiency.
  • Develop illustrations, diagrams, and other visual assets that clarify complex concepts.
  • Prepare implementation-ready design files with interaction details, states, and edge cases.
  • Partner with engineers through implementation and review shipped work to ensure design quality in production.
  • Design variants and refinements for experimentation based on product data and research.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a product designer with a strong visual design and design systems focus.
  • A portfolio showing exceptional visual craft in shipped product work, including typography, color, and composition.
  • Hands-on experience building or significantly owning a design system.
  • Familiarity with how design systems intersect with AI tooling.
  • Fluency in Figma, including variables, component architecture, and auto layout.
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams with product managers and engineers.
  • Must reside in one of Point’s states of operation: AL, AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, KS, KY, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NH, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, or WI.
  • Preferred local or 100% remote work arrangement within the U.S.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary of $170,000–$188,000 for Tier 1 locations, $153,000–$169,000 for Tier 2, or $136,000–$150,000 for Tier 3, depending on location.
