Description

  • Support web design across Fender’s Shopify website ecosystem.
  • Translate business goals and user needs into intuitive, user-centered design solutions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and the creative team to ensure cohesive product design delivery.
  • Evolve and scale responsive design systems across web touchpoints.
  • Contribute to and champion Fender’s refreshed design language.
  • Present design work clearly and persuasively to stakeholders.
  • Balance large initiatives with iterative optimizations such as PDP/PLP updates and merch modules.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of web design experience with a strong UI/UX background.
  • Experience supporting global corporate websites that combine brand storytelling with eCommerce.
  • Strong UX skills, including information architecture, user flows, wireframes, and problem solving.
  • Excellent visual design skills and experience collaborating closely with brand/creative teams.
  • Experience working in Shopify and/or content management systems like Contentful.
  • Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with Jira workflows.
  • Ability to self-direct and confidently present work in a lean, cross-functional environment.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving clarity through design.
  • Familiarity with Baymard Institute best practices and accessibility standards is preferred.
  • Passion for music or experience working with global consumer brands is preferred.
  • Experience designing lifestyle commerce-oriented experiences is preferred.
  • Multi-platform and multi-screen experience is preferred.
