Description

  • Architect, deploy, and manage highly available cloud infrastructure across Google Cloud Platform and Google Kubernetes Engine.
  • Maintain and scale infrastructure as code with Terraform and GitOps workflows using Atlantis.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
  • Manage networking perimeters, service mesh configurations, and API gateway traffic for secure ingress, egress, and microservices communication.
  • Implement telemetry, log aggregation, and alerting to support high availability, efficient resource use, and rapid incident response.
  • Enforce security controls, identity management, and secrets handling across production environments.
  • Maintain compliance standards such as SOC2 and participate in the operational on-call rotation.
  • Codify infrastructure and automate release management for zero-downtime deployments.
  • Collaborate in a fast-moving, high-trust environment to solve complex infrastructure and operational challenges.

Requirements

  • Senior or Lead-level experience operating production workloads on GCP and GKE.
  • Expert-level Terraform experience, including GitOps workflows at scale with Atlantis.
  • Strong experience designing, building, and maintaining multi-stage automated deployment pipelines.
  • High proficiency with Istio, including VirtualServices, mTLS, and sidecar injection.
  • Experience with API gateways, specifically Kong.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise security and secret management tools and practices, including Auth0, Dex, ESO, SOPS, VPC-SC, and IAM.
  • Solid operational familiarity with Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL), BigQuery, and in-cluster datastores such as Elasticsearch or ClickHouse.
  • Upper-intermediate spoken and written English proficiency.
  • Experience with Ansible for host configuration, cluster bootstrapping, or disaster recovery (preferred).
  • GCP Professional Cloud Architect, GCP Professional Security Engineer, or Kubernetes certification such as CKA or CKS (preferred).
  • Practical experience with Loki, Grafana, or ClickHouse for centralized logging and metrics (preferred).
