Description

  • Architect, deploy, and manage highly available cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform and Google Kubernetes Engine.
  • Maintain and scale Terraform-based infrastructure as code across a large multi-file environment.
  • Enforce GitOps workflows using Atlantis.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
  • Manage enterprise networking, service mesh configurations, and API gateways for secure traffic flow.
  • Implement observability, logging, and alerting to support availability and incident response.
  • Enforce security controls, identity management, and secrets handling across production systems.
  • Maintain compliance standards such as SOC2 and participate in the operational on-call rotation.
  • Drive DevOps practices for release management, automation, and production operations.

Requirements

  • Senior or lead-level experience operating production workloads on GCP and GKE.
  • Expert-level Terraform experience and extensive GitOps workflow experience, specifically with Atlantis.
  • Strong experience designing, building, and maintaining multi-stage automated deployment pipelines.
  • High proficiency with Istio and API gateways such as Kong.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise security and secret management tools and controls including Auth0, Dex, ESO, SOPS, VPC-SC, and IAM.
  • Operational familiarity with Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL), BigQuery, and in-cluster datastores such as Elasticsearch or ClickHouse.
  • Upper-intermediate spoken and written English.
  • Experience with Ansible for host configuration, cluster bootstrapping, and disaster recovery (preferred).
  • GCP Professional Cloud Architect, GCP Professional Security Engineer, or Kubernetes certifications such as CKA/CKS (preferred).
  • Experience with Loki, Grafana, or ClickHouse for centralized logging and metrics (preferred).
