Description

  • Architect, deploy, and manage highly available cloud infrastructure across Google Cloud Platform and Google Kubernetes Engine.
  • Maintain and scale infrastructure as code with Terraform and GitOps workflows using Atlantis.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
  • Manage networking, service mesh, and API gateway traffic for secure ingress, egress, and microservices communication.
  • Implement telemetry, logging, alerting, and incident response practices to support reliability and availability.
  • Enforce cloud security controls, identity management, secrets handling, and compliance requirements such as SOC2.
  • Participate in the operational on-call rotation.
  • Codify infrastructure and automate release management across production environments.

Requirements

  • Senior or lead-level experience operating production workloads on GCP and GKE.
  • Expert-level Terraform experience and extensive GitOps workflow experience with Atlantis.
  • Strong experience designing, building, and maintaining multi-stage automated deployment pipelines.
  • High proficiency with Istio and API gateways, specifically Kong.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise security and secret management tools and controls including Auth0, Dex, ESO, SOPS, VPC-SC, and IAM.
  • Solid operational familiarity with Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL), BigQuery, and in-cluster datastores such as Elasticsearch or ClickHouse.
  • Upper-intermediate spoken and written English.
  • Experience with Ansible for host configuration, cluster bootstrapping, and disaster recovery (preferred).
  • GCP Professional Cloud Architect, GCP Professional Security Engineer, or Kubernetes certifications such as CKA/CKS (preferred).
  • Practical experience with Loki, Grafana, or ClickHouse for centralized logging and metrics (preferred).
