Description

  • Develop, test, and maintain high-quality PHP applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, modular, and reusable code.
  • Apply best practices such as SOLID, design patterns, testing, and well-documented code.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve performance and other issues.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in modern web development.
  • Strong PHP skills with at least one framework such as Symfony, Api Platform, or Laravel.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with React.js, Vue.js, Angular, or at least jQuery.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and experience with caching and messaging tools such as Memcached, Redis, MongoDB, and message queues.
  • Comfortable working with REST, JSON, XML, HTML, Git, and Docker.
  • Strong focus on clean, maintainable code using SOLID, DRY, KISS, and Clean Architecture principles.
  • Good understanding of security, performance, memory management, data structures, and scalability.
  • Good understanding of server infrastructure and web protocols such as HTTP and WebSockets.
  • English level of B1 or higher.
  • Prepared to work as a contractor under a B2B service agreement.
  • Nice to have: understanding of mathematics and geometry.
  • Nice to have: experience with 2D/3D graphics such as Canvas, WebGL, or OpenGL.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with payment systems and APIs such as PayPal, Stripe, and Apple/Google payments.
  • Nice to have: understanding of Russian or Lithuanian languages.
