Description

  • Build and deliver presentations and product demonstrations that showcase Planet’s platform and its fit for customer business needs.
  • Develop trusted-advisor relationships with customer technical and management stakeholders.
  • Recommend solutions architectures that address customer business challenges.
  • Support responses to tenders, RFIs, and RFPs with product and solution information.
  • Work with sales colleagues to define account development plans and execute customer engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Product Management, and Business Development as the voice of the customer.
  • Prepare and submit RFP and RFI materials in coordination with internal teams.
  • Track and communicate forecasts, pipeline opportunities, deal reviews, CRM data, and customer feedback to sales leadership.
  • Present to executive government stakeholders across Western and Northern Europe.
  • Mentor team members and lead training sessions to support team development.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience supporting the Defense community within the European region.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance for customer meetings.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 50%, primarily across Europe and the United States.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
  • Experience working with GIS and remote sensing users within the Defense industry.
  • Experience in IMINT, ISR, or related fields.
  • Experience with QGIS, SocetGXP, ArcGIS, GDAL, and other common geospatial software packages.
  • Ability to program in Python to process imagery, manipulate vector data, interact with APIs, and build data pipelines.
