Description

  • Define and manage technical strategy for Power Platform projects and communicate it to leadership and project teams.
  • Lead client discovery, planning, design, training, and enablement sessions.
  • Guide solution envisioning, requirements analysis, and fit-gap analysis for Power Platform initiatives.
  • Develop and implement solutions using out-of-the-box features, custom development, and third-party tools.
  • Own work across the full development lifecycle, including discovery, analysis, design, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Create and execute security, compliance, data migration, and application lifecycle management strategies.
  • Facilitate integrated project strategies with cloud engineering, modern workplace, development, security, and compliance teams.
  • Coach division and project team members to keep Power Platform practices current and effective.
  • Collaborate across Planet Technologies divisions and champion citizen developer and organizational change efforts.
  • Produce clear documentation and presentations that communicate solutions and concepts effectively.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience, including Power Platform development and consulting experience.
  • Deep functional and technical knowledge of the Power Platform ecosystem, including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Power Virtual Agents.
  • Experience with Dataverse, on-premises data sources, gateways, connectors, custom connectors, Dataflows, PowerQuery ETL, and the Common Data Model.
  • Experience with SQL, XML, JSON, Azure App Registrations, and solutions across Dev, Test, and Prod environments using Azure DevOps sprints/pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft and related technologies such as .NET, C#, Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, JavaScript, FetchXML, and third-party tools like XRMToolBox, SOAPUI, and VSCode.
  • Ability to read and write data using SOAP and REST APIs, including private APIs through Data Gateway and Azure KeyVault authentication.
  • Technical proficiency in PL-600 Power Solution Architect Expert and PL-200 Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate.
  • Additional certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-204, AZ-400, MS-900, MB-910, or SC-900 are preferred.
  • Strong business analysis skills, including using classic BA tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and modeling tools.
  • US citizenship is required, with the ability to pass a background investigation for government work.
  • Must be willing to work Pacific or Mountain hours and travel 0-25%.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $120,000 to $165,000.
