Description

  • Oversee day-to-day execution and delivery of project management services across technical engagements.
  • Lead and directly supervise a remote PMO team of Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Program Managers.
  • Establish and manage PMO governance, quality controls, performance tracking, and project oversight.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within defined scope, schedule, budget, contractual commitments, and delivery standards.
  • Coordinate resources and communicate project status, priorities, and outcomes with departmental and executive leadership.
  • Manage project financials, including budgeting, cost control, and analysis of project metrics and performance data.
  • Identify, manage, and escalate project risks and issues to maintain delivery commitments.
  • Model effective problem-solving, decision-making, adaptability, and customer-focused service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technology, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as a PMO Manager or Director in a large, matrixed enterprise organization.
  • Experience balancing multiple ongoing priorities and leading project management teams.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile and PMBOK.
  • Experience delivering complex IT projects involving technical deployments.
  • Experience managing project budgets, cost controls, risks, issues, and performance metrics.
  • Experience ensuring compliance with statements of work, contractual commitments, and delivery standards.
  • Strong communication skills with executive, departmental, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project dynamics, technologies, and market conditions.
  • Hold at least two of the following certifications: PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master, or Microsoft Project 2016/2019.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to meet federal agency clearance requirements, including a background investigation of up to 10 years.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $150,000–$170,000, with final compensation based on experience, clearance level, education, and training.
  • Remote work arrangement, with onsite travel or presence as required by business needs.
