Description

  • Lead site diligence and local permitting for solar, energy storage, and other capital development projects.
  • Meet with landowners, manage lease terms, and secure lease amendments.
  • Create, submit, and manage permitting applications and land-use documents.
  • Assess site viability through field visits, desktop diligence, permitting analysis, and environmental, geotechnical, topographic, and grid reviews.
  • Manage third-party consultants and contractors completing project diligence activities.
  • Maintain project files, budgets, and records in Procore, Salesforce, and internal systems.
  • Manage project scope, quality, budget, and schedule requirements.
  • Conduct community outreach, participate in policy working groups, and represent Pivot at land-use hearings.
  • Resolve title-curative items with the legal team to meet project-finance requirements.
  • Prepare project deliverables and partner with Structured Finance to advance projects to financial close.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of renewable energy development or comparable professional experience.
  • Excellent communication, public-relations, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Comfort presenting project concepts publicly to recommending and decision-making bodies.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage complex evaluations across a significant portfolio of sites.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently with minimal supervision, and adapt to changing needs.
  • Experience with federal, state, and local permitting for renewable energy projects, including application preparation (preferred).
  • Knowledge of real estate title, LLCs, tax maps, deeds, and parcel identification (preferred).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Earth, and ArcGIS (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites and permitting authorities.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% and arrange travel independently.
