Description

  • Lead clinical study operations, including strategic and tactical planning, execution, and completion.
  • Oversee project timelines, reports, budgets, monitoring, site management, vendor management, clinical supplies, and data collection.
  • Serve as the primary contact among sponsors, study teams, functional groups, and external vendors.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute study-specific project plans, including monitoring, communication, project management, and eTMF plans.
  • Ensure studies comply with GCP, SOPs, regulatory requirements, protocols, scope of work, and project-specific plans.
  • Manage study budgets and out-of-scope tracking with the Client Manager and Finance Department.
  • Monitor project progress, manage critical paths, identify and escalate risks, and adjust timelines as needed.
  • Assess resourcing and training needs, delegate responsibilities, and ensure team members have appropriate tools and support.
  • Lead, motivate, mentor, and support the professional development of study team members.
  • Provide senior management with study updates, resource needs, sponsor issues, and overall study health status.

Requirements

  • RN, bachelor's degree, or advanced degree in biological sciences or a related field; equivalent relevant experience, education, training, and prior CRA experience considered.
  • Experience successfully managing multifaceted clinical studies from inception through implementation and completion.
  • Proven effectiveness as a team leader, including the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
  • Experience managing projects in a virtual environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to lead by example and encourage team members to independently identify solutions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and OneNote (preferred).
