Description

  • Lead clinical study operations, including planning, timelines, budgets, monitoring, site and vendor management, clinical supplies, and data collection.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact among sponsors, study teams, vendors, and functional groups.
  • Manage, motivate, mentor, and delegate responsibilities to study team members.
  • Oversee study budgets, including out-of-scope tracking, with the Client Manager and Finance Department.
  • Provide senior management with regular updates on study progress, resourcing, sponsor issues, and overall health.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute project plans, including monitoring, communication, project management, and eTMF plans.
  • Ensure study compliance with GCP, SOPs, regulatory requirements, protocols, and project-specific plans.
  • Assess staffing and training needs and implement appropriate resource and training plans.
  • Track study risks, identify potential obstacles, escalate issues, and adjust timelines based on critical-path changes.
  • Oversee external vendor deliverables and facilitate communication among vendors, the study team, and sponsors.

Requirements

  • RN, bachelor’s or advanced degree in biological sciences or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education, training, experience, and prior CRA experience.
  • Experience successfully managing multifaceted clinical studies from inception through implementation and completion.
  • Experience managing projects in a virtual environment.
  • Proven effectiveness as a team leader with the ability to lead by example and motivate team members.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with MS Project and OneNote preferred.
